Poor little Billy is heartbroken and inconsolable over his discovery. Little did he know, though, is that this Santa Claus was actually a small exotic island off the Pacific coast near Santa Barbara, home to California's rarest birds and two residing ornithologists. A violent winter storm pummeled it into a mere memory eight years ago.
It's okay, honey, bless your heart. YOUR Santa didn't die. Let's dry those tears...
*as a side note, most of the aforementioned birds and both ornithologists escaped death from nature's fury of wind, torrential rain and resultant mudslides.
Every other Monday we send out an email with a photo. You then have two weeks to write a story that is 110 words or less. Join the experiment by sending us an email, we'll send you your first pic and off you go: the110experiment@yahoo.com
